Italian Lawyers Launch Legal Battle Under the Leadership of Dr. Nadeem Muhammad Waqas
ROME, (Special Correspondent) – A formal legal case has been filed before the relevant Italian authorities over an incident involving the desecration of the Holy Quran in Italy.
The legal action has been initiated by Dr. Nadeem Muhammad Waqas, President of Human Trust International and QANOONIBAAT LAW Center Italy, who has joined forces with a team of ten experienced Italian lawyers to pursue the matter through the country’s legal and judicial system.
Following the emergence of the sensitive incident, Dr. Waqas presented the matter to selected experts from his legal team. After reviewing the relevant legal aspects, the team collectively decided that the issue should be addressed through Italian law and the judicial system rather than through any emotional or retaliatory response.
The purpose of the legal action, according to the organizers, is not to create hatred against any nation, religion or community, but to defend respect for the Holy Quran and the sacred scriptures of all religions, while promoting religious sentiments, human dignity and peaceful coexistence.
Dr. Nadeem Muhammad Waqas Reaffirms Commitment to Legal Action
Dr. Waqas said:
“The response to lawlessness is law, the response to mischief is the courts, and the response to hatred is love. The desecration of the Holy Quran took place in Italy, but Italian lawyers have stood with us on the legal front to defend respect for it. This is the true beauty of humanity.”
He further stated that the case would be pursued through every relevant legal forum within the framework of the law.
“Our aim is to establish a strong message for the future that the desecration of any religion, sacred scripture or a person’s religious sentiments should not be treated as something ordinary,” he said.
Dr. Waqas also expressed confidence in the Italian judiciary, legal system and state institutions, saying that his team remained hopeful and determined to pursue justice.
Respect for All Sacred Scriptures
Human Trust International clarified that its principle is not limited to the Holy Quran. The organization said that if the Bible, Torah or any sacred scripture of any religion is desecrated, it would similarly stand for its protection and respect through peaceful and lawful means.
The message, the organization said, is clear:
Respect for sacred scriptures means respect for all religions.
The response to lawlessness is law, the response to mischief is the courts, and the response to hatred is love.
