Grand Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Procession Held in Luton under the supervision of prominent British scholar Allama Hafiz Ejaz Ahmed

London, (Shahzad Ali) __ Thousands of devotees participated in a grand Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ procession organised under the supervision of prominent British scholar and Imam Allama Hafiz Ejaz Ahmed from Luton Central Mosque. The procession passed through the Bury Park business hub before returning to the mosque, where it concluded with a large gathering.

Among the participants were Lord Qurban Hussain, former Deputy Leader of Luton Council, Raja Muhammad Aslam Khan,Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Ikraam Mujaddidi, Haji Mahboob, Sufi Hanif Naqshbandi, Raja Aslam Kiyani,Councillor Idrees Latif, former Mayors Councillor Yaqoob Hanif, Muhammad Farooq, Raja Saleem, and Tahir Mahmood Malik, as well as Dr Yaseen Rahman,, local community leaders, and representatives from various walks of life.

The event/ jalsa began with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. Guest speaker Allama Sheikh Muhammad Saqib Iqbal Shami delivered a keynote address on the greatness and status of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Allama Hafiz Ejaz Ahmed conducted the proceedings. Renowned naat reciters from Pakistan, Hafiz Ghulam Mustafa Qadri and Hafiz Muhammad Ali Suharwardi, presented naats, while Qari Muhammad Tayyab Mujaddidi recited the Qur’an, captivating the audience. Local scholar,s including Maulana Qasim, Maulana Arfat Ahmed, and Maulana Usman Faroo,q also delivered speeches.

The mosque administration, led by President Haji Choudhry Muhammad Shafaat Pothi, Senior Committee Member Haji Choudhry Muhammad Qurban, Vice Presidents Haji Malik Pannu Khan and Choudhry Muhammad Nisar, Chief Treasurer Haji Choudhry Muhammad Shabbir, and others, played a vital role in the success of the program. The event concluded with the serving of traditional langar (communal meal) to all participants.
