BRUSSELS, (Unib Rashid) – The European Union has expressed deep concern over the recent escalation of violence in the West Bank, describing the latest incidents as a stark reminder of the fragile security situation on the ground.

In a statement issued by the EU spokesperson, the bloc extended its heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished the injured a full and speedy recovery.

We extend our sincere condolences to the families of those who have lost their loved ones and wish a full and swift recovery to all those injured,” the spokesperson said.

The statement further noted that today’s events underscore the volatility of the situation on the ground and reiterated the European Union’s concern over the deteriorating security conditions in the West Bank.

The EU has consistently called for restraint by all parties and emphasized the importance of preventing further escalation and protecting civilian lives.
