Brussels, (Unib Rashid) — Belgian photo journalist Cedric Gerbehaye will launch his book “Kashmir: Wait and See” on September 5 during an international book fair in Paris, France. The fair will showcase the work of photographers and photographic authors from 113 countries.

Gerbehaye, who has visited Indian-administered Kashmir twice and Azad Kashmir multiple times, documented with his camera what he personally witnessed — the state repression in Indian-administered Kashmir and the plight of its victims. His photographs provide a visual record of the realities on the ground.

The book has also been presented earlier by Ali Raza Syed, Chairman of Kashmir Council EU, during the International Kashmir Conference in Brussels, where it was handed over to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the EU, Rahim Hayat Qureshi.
