Anuga 2025: 54 Pakistani Companies Join Global Food & Drink Showcase in Cologne

Cologne, Germany, (Unib Rashid) – One of Europe’s largest food and beverage trade fairs, Anuga 2025, kicked off today (October 4) in Cologne, Germany. The exhibition features around 8,000 exhibitors from 110 countries, including 54 companies from Pakistan. According to the organizers, with a total exhibition area of 290,000 square meters, this year’s Anuga 2025 is the biggest edition in the event’s history.

Running from October 4 to 8, the fair is expected to attract more than 140,000 visitors from nearly 200 countries, 94 percent of whom will be international buyers from outside Germany.

Countries with the highest number of exhibitors this year include Italy, Spain, China, Germany, France, Greece, the Netherlands, Poland, Turkey, and the United States. Anuga 2025 also features 174 group stands from 78 countries spread across 6,000 square meters, along with five of the largest national pavilions from Istanbul, China, Italy, Spain, and the U.S.

On Pakistan’s participation, Amna Naeem, Pakistan’s Trade and Investment Attaché in Germany, stated that 34 companies are showcasing their products through the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). In addition, a delegation from Belgium, led by Rana Javed Kausar, President of the Pakistan-Benelux Overseas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is also attending the event.
