Belgrade, (Unib Rashid) — Pakistan’s Ambassador to Serbia, Syed Faraz Zaidi, met with Ms. Tatjana Jović, Advisor to the President of Serbia, to discuss matters of mutual interest and ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Serbia.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on enhancing cooperation, particularly in the economic sector, which, according to Ambassador Zaidi, remains below its potential. The two also discussed the possibility of reopening the Serbian Embassy in Islamabad, a move expected to further consolidate diplomatic ties.

On the other hand, Ambassador Syed Faraz Zaidi shared details of the meeting on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), stating that it was an honor to meet the distinguished Advisor to the President of Serbia, Ms. Tatjana Jović. He added,
“We look forward to further strengthening the partnership between Pakistan and Serbia as we explore new avenues of cooperation in diplomacy, trade, and people-to-people linkages.”
