Brussels, (Unib Rashid) __ Chairman of the Kashmir Council EU, Ali Raza Syed, presented the book “Kashmir: Wait & See” to renowned senior journalist Mr. Hamid Mir during a meeting held in Islamabad on Wednesday.

The book is authored by acclaimed Belgian documentary photographer Cédric Gerbehaye and represents the culmination of eight years of extensive work. Through powerful imagery, the publication documents life under occupation and highlights the everyday realities, cultural heritage, and resilience of the people of Indian-occupied Jammu & Kashmir, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

During the meeting, Ali Raza Syed briefed Mr. Hamid Mir on the concept and significance of the book, describing it as a compelling visual narrative that transcends geographical and political boundaries.

Kashmir: Wait & See is scheduled to be launched and exhibited at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), Islamabad, from January 26 to 28, 2026, where it will be open to the public and art enthusiasts.

The book aims to raise global awareness about the human dimension of the Kashmir issue through documentary photography and visual storytelling.
