A splendid example of Pakistani culture, community spirituality and brotherhood was set

Townsville Australia, (Dr. Waqas Anwar) __ The Pakistani community in Townsville, Australia, recently hosted a lavish dinner in honour of distinguished figures who performed Hajj, Mr. Samer Ali and his wife Dr. Embryne, and Mr. Muhammad Azeem Shah and his wife Dr. Seema Shah. The event was not only to pay tribute to these figures for their great achievement of Hajj, but also to highlight Pakistani culture, community spirituality and brotherhood.
This elaborate and memorable event was hosted by Dr. Waqas Anwar, a renowned Pakistani physician and a prominent figure who recently relocated to Townsville from the United Arab Emirates, at his residence, and was attended by prominent figures of the community and their families.
Speaking at the event, host Dr. Waqas Anwar extended his heartfelt congratulations to the distinguished guests on achieving the privilege of Hajj and said:
“This spiritual experience is not just a personal one, but a collective joy, and the way the Pakistani community of Townsville has celebrated this joy is very valuable to me.”

He expressed his satisfaction with his stay in Townsville and said, “The love and sincerity with which the Pakistani community of this city has accepted me has made me feel at home in a foreign land.”
Dr. Waqas Anwar made a special mention of his long-time friend Dr. Farhan Khalid on this occasion and paid tribute to his 25-year deep friendship with him.
“Dr. Farhan Khalid is not only my close friend but also a mentor, advisor and a beacon of sincerity and guidance at every stage of my life. His advice was key in my decision to move to Australia. Our friendship has always stood the test of time, and I consider myself fortunate to have found a friend who stood by me in every situation.”
Respected Samer Ali and Respected Muhammad Azeem Shah also expressed their gratitude to the community on this occasion and said:
“Although it has been more than two months since the performance of Hajj, the Pakistani community of Townsville is still inviting us to dinners and loving events. This spirit, this culture, and this acceptance is truly a beautiful reflection of Pakistaniness. We are grateful that we have been given so much love and respect.”
Dr. Farhan Khalid also spoke:
“This is the beauty of our culture that we turn spiritual achievements into collective happiness. The atmosphere of love, unity and dignity that exists in our community is nothing short of a blessing.”
Other dignitaries present at the event, including Dr. Muhammad Amjad Rashid, Dr. Farhan Zia Butt, Dr. Shahryar Ashraf, Iftikhar Ahmed and Rahat Hussain, also appreciated the brotherhood, mutual respect and positive traditions found among the Pakistani community and described it as a strong, cohesive and exemplary community abroad.

Dr. Mushtaq, Dr. Imran Butt, Nasir Tajuddin and Noman Ali could not attend the event due to personal commitments, however, they sent heartfelt messages of congratulations and good wishes.
The event was not only spiritually meaningful but also proved to be a wonderful manifestation of the mutual relations, cultural harmony and hospitality of the Pakistani community of Townsville. Such events not only promote positive connections within the community but also create cultural awareness and national identity for the new generation.
