Rahim Yar Khan,(TW News) – The Pakistan Sister Cities Initiative (PSCI) achieved a historic milestone with the signing of its first-ever Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the district of Rahim Yar Khan. The landmark agreement was formalized at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, marking a new chapter in strengthening global city-to-city partnerships for Pakistan.
The MoU follows the Letter of Intent signed earlier in the day and underscores a shared commitment to building stronger international ties. Deputy Commissioner Rahim Yar Khan and Additional Deputy Commissioner/Administrator Rahim Yar Khan played a pivotal role in facilitating this collaboration.

Speaking on the occasion, Sadat Choudhary, President of PSCI, emphasized that the agreement goes beyond a ceremonial signing. “This MoU is a promise to foster cultural exchange, drive economic growth, and create educational opportunities that will benefit the people of Rahim Yar Khan and its future sister city. This partnership will serve as a model for our work across Pakistan,” he said.
The partnership is expected to open new avenues of cooperation in trade, culture, education, and people-to-people linkages, paving the way for long-term international engagement.
