Dubai, (Tahir Munir Tahir) __ Masooma Ijaz, a well-known career mentor and philanthropist of Pakistani origin based in the United Arab Emirates, was awarded the Global Voice for Rights International Peace Award during the International Diplomat Conference held at the United Nations in Bangkok. This award was given by the international organization in recognition of her outstanding humanitarian services and community welfare.
Masooma Ijaz has been providing free guidance, encouragement and career counseling to job seekers in the UAE for many years. She has helped migrants in particular to advance in the field of employment, without any compensation, which has brought about a positive change in the lives of thousands of people.
Masouma Ejaz said that she is extremely happy and proud that her tireless work for her community and service to humanity has been recognized internationally. She said that this award is in the name of all the people she has mentored and also for the countries that have given her the opportunity to perform this service, especially the UAE, which is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for empowerment and inclusive development.
