Digital Agriculture Consortium set to launch in Pakistan

Islamabad (TW) __ On behalf of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), we cordially invite members of the media to join us at the launch of The Digital Agriculture Consortium (DAC), which will gather digital agriculture input companies, mechanization services, digital service providers, financial services representatives, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders. The event will held tomorrow, TuesdayJuly 30, 2024 at Grand Ball Hall, Marriott Hotel Islamabad from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm.

This significant event is set to revolutionize Pakistan’s agriculture sector with its official launch. This landmark event, organized under the project “Technical Support for the Establishment of Pakistan Digital Agriculture Consortium,” aims to showcase Pakistan’s rapidly growing digital agriculture ecosystem and unify stakeholders toward a shared vision of agricultural digital transformation.

The project is technically supported by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Ministry of National Food Security and Research.

Participants will engage in exhibitions, sector-specific presentations, and panel discussions, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strategic planning to leverage digital technologies for the agriculture sector’s benefit.

Digital agriculture, positioned at the intersection of technology and traditional farming practices, promises to address pressing challenges and unlock vast opportunities within Pakistan’s agriculture sector.
