PM Reaffirms Pakistan’s Full Support for Saudi Arabia in Call with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Brussels/Islamabad, (Unib Rashid) – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during a telephone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

During the cordial conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the recent attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea, describing them as “dastardly” and a grave violation of international law.

The Prime Minister said the attacks were completely unacceptable, warning that such actions threaten freedom of navigation, disrupt commercial shipping, and undermine regional peace, security, and stability.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Kingdom, Prime Minister Shehbaz stated that he, along with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the entire Pakistani nation, stands firmly with the Saudi leadership and the people of Saudi Arabia during this critical time.

He reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to Saudi Arabia’s security, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and prosperity, emphasizing the deep-rooted brotherly ties between the two countries.

The Prime Minister also assured Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that Pakistan would continue to work closely with Saudi Arabia and the international community to promote peace, stability, and security, while ensuring the uninterrupted flow of lawful maritime commerce through the Red Sea, the Strait of Hormuz, and the wider region.

For his part, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman appreciated Pakistan’s steadfast support and praised the close fraternal relationship shared by the two countries.

During the conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also conveyed his warm regards and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The telephone conversation underscored the enduring strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to regional peace, security, and continued bilateral cooperation.
