Industry Leaders Discuss Sustainability and Carbon Credits at LCCI Meeting.

Brussels, (Unib Rashid) – A significant meeting focusing on sustainability and connectivity was held at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, where leadership from the Trade Facilitation Network participated in the Corporate Relations Standing Committee session.

The session was hosted by Mr. Amer Salam, Convener of the committee, who welcomed prominent participants including Mr. Muhammad Anwar, Founder of TFN, and Mr. Nadir Mumtaz, Member of the Board of Governors, TFN.

During the meeting, participants engaged in a forward-looking discussion on carbon credits, emphasizing the growing importance of sustainable practices, regulatory compliance, and enhancing global competitiveness within the industrial sector.

Speakers highlighted the evolving role of industries in addressing environmental challenges while maintaining economic growth, stressing the need for strategic alignment between policy frameworks and business operations.
