BRUSSELS, (Unib Rashid) __ Director of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), Mashhood Ali Khan, met with Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) Chancellor Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan and his delegation to discuss opportunities for strengthening collaboration between industry and academia.

During the meeting, Mashhood Ali Khan informed the university leadership that the founder and CEO of Mehran Commercial Enterprises (MCE), Muhammad Qamaruddin Khan, has reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to empowering students through practical knowledge and skill development.

He offered a range of opportunities for students, including industry-linked learning programs, process improvement projects, internships, and scholarships aimed at enhancing their professional capabilities.

Mashhood Ali Khan also invited the Chancellor to visit the Mehran Commercial Enterprises plant after the upcoming Eid al-Fitr, highlighting the company’s dedication to innovation and growth.

He emphasized that despite the current economic challenges, MCE remains committed to supporting Pakistan’s youth and contributing to the development of a skilled workforce. He expressed optimism that this collaboration would help promote innovation and sustainable development in Pakistan.
