Glasgow, (TW News) __ The Pakistan Consulate in Glasgow, in collaboration with Kashmir Forum Scotland, organised a seminar to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day on 5 February 2026, reaffirming unwavering solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The seminar provided a platform to reflect on the longstanding challenges faced by the Kashmiri people and to highlight their resilience and sacrifices in the face of continued human rights violations. Speakers and participants expressed deep concern over the grave hardships and injustices endured by the people of IIOJK.

Participants called upon the international community, including the United Nations and major global powers, to fulfil their responsibilities by playing an effective role in facilitating a just and peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

Addressing the gathering, the Consul General reiterated Pakistan’s consistent and principled stance on IIOJK and reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to extend its moral, political, and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their legitimate struggle for the right to self-determination.
