Brussels, (Unib Rashid) __ The annual awards ceremony of the Belgium Cricket Federation was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel near Brussels Airport, where winning teams of the 2025 league and players who delivered outstanding performances were honored with awards. The event was attended by a large number of members from the cricket community.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Belgium Cricket Federation, Omar Butt, stated that the year 2026 will prove to be a game changer for cricket in Belgium.

He announced that, for the first time in Belgium’s history, the Euro T20 Belgium Franchise League is being launched, which will feature renowned international and star cricketers from around the world.

Omar Butt further stated that the league will not only significantly promote cricket in Belgium but will also provide local players with an excellent opportunity to showcase their talent on an international stage.
