London, (TW News) __ Raja Sikandar Khan, Chairman of the Kashmir International Organization and a leading representative of the diaspora think tank Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council, has safely returned to the United Kingdom following a highly successful official visit to Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK).
During his visit, Raja Sikandar Khan held a series of high-level meetings with officials from the Government of Pakistan and the AJK administration. The discussions focused on bilateral and multilateral matters, with particular emphasis on issues faced by the overseas diaspora, including challenges encountered during travel and entry into Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
As part of his engagements, Raja Sikandar Khan organized a Kashmir Conference in Gujranwala and a Kashmir Seminar at the National Press Club, Islamabad. The events were attended by prominent national and international figures, including former President of AJK and former Ambassador to China and the United States, Sardar Masood Khan; Lord Nazir Ahmed; former AJK Minister Ch. Muhammad Saeed; Syed Nazir Gillani; former AJK Secretary Malik Shoukat Majid; and several other distinguished guests.
Raja Sikandar Khan was also welcomed as Guest of Honour at various press clubs, including Mirpur Press Club, Chakswari Press Club, Syed Noor Press Club, and others, where he interacted with journalists and civil society representatives.
In his addresses and press interactions, the Chairman highlighted the crucial role of media in raising public awareness. He stressed that journalists bear a vital responsibility in highlighting human rights violations and advocating for the freedom struggle and the fundamental right to self-determination of the people of Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, as well as Palestine.
Raja Sikandar Khan announced that he will soon hold a press conference in London to brief the media on the outcomes, achievements, and key engagements of his successful visit to Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
