DUBAI, (Tahir Munir Tahir) __ Pakistan Business Council Dubai (PBC) organized an exclusive interactive meeting with Rana Ehsan Afzal Khan, Minister of State/Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, at a hotel in Dubai.

The event brought together prominent Pakistani businessmen, entrepreneurs and professionals from various sectors with the board members of Pakistan Business Council Sharjah for a meaningful exchange of views on trade, investment and economic cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE. Chairman Pakistan Business Council Dubai Muhammad Shabbir Merchant thanked the Minister for his valuable time and interaction with the business community.

Shabbir Merchant said, “We are deeply grateful to Rana Ehsan Afzal Khan for engaging with our members and sharing the government’s vision for overseas Pakistanis. PBC Dubai is committed to promoting trade, investment and mutual development by playing a bridge role between the business communities of Pakistan and the UAE.

Ali Zeb Khan, Commercial Counsellor, Consulate General of Pakistan Dubai, was also present at the event, who shared valuable insights on promoting bilateral trade and investment facilitation for overseas Pakistanis.

Commercial Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan said that the UAE is one of Pakistan’s key trade and investment partners. Platforms like PBC Dubai play a vital role in connecting the private sector with government institutions, strengthening economic ties and boosting investor confidence.
In his address, Minister of State/Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Rana Ehsan Afzal Khan stressed the government of Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening ties with overseas Pakistanis and acknowledged their invaluable contribution to the country’s economic development. He encouraged the business community to explore new opportunities in Pakistan’s emerging industrial, technological and investment landscape.

In a question and answer session, members of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai shared their views, raised policy questions, and discussed the challenges and opportunities for enhancing Pakistan-UAE economic cooperation.

The event provided an excellent platform to foster strong linkages between the public and private sectors and reinforce the mission of PBC Dubai.
