Celebrating a Milestone for the British-Pakistani Community in the Asian Youth Championship
London, (Shahzad Ali) __ The Pakistan Girls Youth Netball Team has achieved a significant milestone by securing a noteworthy victory against the Maldives in the Plate Final of the Asian Youth Girls Netball Championship 2025, held in South Korea.
This remarkable accomplishment represents a proud moment for the British-Pakistani community and underscores the dedication and teamwork exhibited by the players. It also highlights the increasing recognition of female sports talent within our diaspora, marking a crucial advancement in promoting women’s sports.

The formal establishment of the Pakistan Girls Netball Team took place last year in the United Kingdom at the Pakistan High Commission in London, where the event was graciously hosted by High Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Faisal in collaboration with the Cosmopolitan Roses Netball Academy.
This international success not only showcases the sporting abilities of the team but also emphasizes the importance of community partnerships and support across borders. The encouragement received from the British-Pakistani community has been instrumental in fostering girls’ participation in sports, and this victory serves as a powerful reminder of the achievements that can arise from unity and ambition.
Dr. Mohammad Faisal remarked, “We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all coaches, supporters, families, and institutions that have contributed to making this vision a reality. The future of girls’ netball in Pakistan is indeed looking brighter than ever.”
