Tribute Paid to the Greatness of Quaid-e-Azam: Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Qurban.

Call to Educate the New Generation About the Ideology of Pakistan.

Luton, (Special Correspondent) — Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Qurban, Coordinator of the Kashmir Solidarity Campaign Luton, has said that on the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the people of Jammu and Kashmir renew their pledge of accession to Pakistan.

In a special statement issued on the occasion of 25 December — the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation — he said that the ongoing oppression of Muslims and other minorities in India, and the constitutional measures taken to deprive them of their identity as citizens, clearly prove that Quaid-e-Azam’s vision and struggle for a separate homeland for Muslims were entirely justified.

He said that on this sacred occasion, the community pays tribute to Quaid-e-Azam’s greatness, insight and historic struggle for safeguarding the religious, political and economic rights of the Muslims of the subcontinent.

Haji Muhammad Qurban appealed to the educated and conscious Pakistani and Kashmiri community across the UK to fully involve the younger generation in events marking the Quaid’s birth anniversary, so they may properly understand the background, importance and requirements of the ideology of Pakistan.

He added that the recent developments in Kashmir and India highlight the need to prepare the new generation to further the objectives for which the Father of the Nation and his companions struggled to create Pakistan. He stressed the need to reorganise and strengthen the movement for the accession of Jammu and Kashmir to Pakistan, and to preserve and unify the identity and various regions of the state.
