The Hague, (Unib Rashid) __ Ms. Merlin Melles, Chief Executive Officer of Founders Carbon Network, called on Ambassador Syed Haider Shah at the Embassy of Pakistan in The Hague to discuss prospects for advancing bilateral economic engagement.

During the meeting, both sides deliberated on a proposed high-level Dutch trade and investment delegation to Pakistan aimed at strengthening commercial linkages and exploring new avenues of cooperation.

Discussions focused on expanding Pakistan–Netherlands collaboration in key sectors, including information technology, agriculture, water management, infrastructure development, private equity, sustainable development, and investment facilitation.

Ambassador Shah welcomed the initiative and reaffirmed the Embassy’s full support in facilitating meaningful business-to-business interactions and institutional partnerships between the two countries. He underscored Pakistan’s commitment to fostering a conducive environment for foreign investment and enhancing economic ties with the Netherlands.

The proposed delegation is expected to further solidify bilateral economic relations and open new opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration.
