Brussels/Faisalabad,(Unib Rashid) __ Pakistan has earned a prominent place on the global farm tourism map as Tariq Tanveer, a leading force behind the country’s agri-tourism movement, has been selected for the prestigious “Asian Farm Tourism Champion Award.” (OFTAA) by ISST Philippines.

This highest Asian-level Award will be present at the 9th International Farm Tourism Conference, to be held from 4–6 March 2026 in the Philippines.

The selection reflects global acknowledgment of Tariq Tanveer’s lifelong dedication, visionary leadership, and tireless efforts in developing farm tourism, empowering farmers, and promoting sustainable green economies in Pakistan.

Today, the world recognizes Pakistan’s strength in farm tourism — and celebrates one of its finest ambassadors.
