London, (Zahid Anwar Mirza) — King Charles III and his wife, Queen Camilla, are set to undertake an official visit to the United States in April 2026.

The visit is being organized after extensive planning to coincide with the 250th anniversary of American independence. Following the U.S. visit, the royal couple is also expected to travel to Bermuda.

According to Buckingham Palace, the visit aims to highlight the historic ties and contemporary bilateral relations between the two countries. This will mark King Charles III’s first official visit to the United States as monarch, following the last royal visit by Queen Elizabeth II in 2007.

The visit is scheduled to commence on April 27, with a state banquet planned at the White House the following day.

The trip is also seen as an effort to ease tensions and reinforce diplomatic relations between the United States and the United Kingdom amid the current challenging political climate.
