DUBAI, (Tahir Munir Tahir) __ The Consul Generals of Pakistan and the Philippines held a joint meeting in Dubai to exchange best practices in migrant welfare and legal assistance services. The meeting was held at the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai.
Pakistan was represented by Community Welfare Attachés Imran Shahid and Junaid Murtaza, while Consul General Mary Gica and Consul General John Rio Bautista represented the Philippine mission.
The meeting focused on cooperation with UAE authorities to enhance legal awareness for low-income workers, capacity building of workers’ welfare officers.
Both sides agreed on the need for joint outreach and regular coordination through workshops and knowledge exchange initiatives to better serve their respective communities.
