Sydney, (TW News) __ Australia has announced fully funded scholarships for Pakistani students aspiring to pursue Master’s degree programs at leading Australian universities.
The scholarships are being offered under the Australia Awards Program, enabling selected Pakistani students to study at internationally recognized higher education institutions across Australia. According to Australian authorities, candidates will be selected based on academic excellence, professional experience, leadership potential, and their capacity to contribute to Pakistan’s socio-economic development.
Priority will be given to women, persons with disabilities, and applicants from marginalized and underrepresented communities. Preference will also be accorded to candidates intending to study in fields related to climate change, women and girls’ empowerment, agriculture and water management, infrastructure development, and overall economic growth.
The scholarships are exclusively available for Master’s degree programs, with selected candidates scheduled to commence their studies in Australia in 2027. Applicants who already hold a Master’s degree at the same academic level will not be eligible.
All degrees will be completed at accredited Australian higher education institutions. The scholarship package covers full tuition fees, living expenses, return air travel, health insurance, and additional academic support. Scholarship recipients will also receive Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), an introductory academic program, supplementary academic assistance, and fieldwork allowances for research or coursework programs requiring mandatory fieldwork.
Eligibility requirements include Pakistani citizenship, residence in Pakistan, submission of applications from within the country, a minimum of 16 years of education, and at least five years of relevant professional experience, with an upper age limit of 45 years.
Applicants must not hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency, nor be applying for permanent migration to Australia. Persons with disabilities may apply with an IELTS score of 6.0, provided no individual band is below 5.0. Selected candidates will be required to meet the prescribed English language proficiency requirements prior to the commencement of their studies.
Applicants are required to submit all documents as outlined in the policy handbook and Pakistan-specific conditions. All documents must be color-scanned, clearly labeled, and compiled into a single PDF under each category.
