Ambassador of Pakistan, Dr. Zahoor Ahmed called on the Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström

Stockholm,11 January 2022 : Ambassador of Pakistan, Dr. Zahoor Ahmed called on the Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström in the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The discussions covered bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.

The Ambassador said that Pakistan valued its relations with Sweden and would like to further develop ties in various areas including higher education, vocational training, renewable energy, trade & investment, tourism and environmental friendly ventures.

Ambassador reiterated the invitation from Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to Foreign Minister Billström to pay a visit to Pakistan at his earliest convenience.

Appreciating the long standing friendly ties between the two countries, the Swedish Foreign Minister said that both countries could enhance cooperation in various fields especially education, renewable energy, and I.T. He expressed grief over the loss of lives in last year’s devastating floods and reiterated Swedish support for Pakistan .
