Brussels, (Unib Rashid) – The Embassy of Pakistan to the European Union has welcomed the clear and unanimous ruling of the Court of Arbitration affirming the status of the Indus Waters Treaty and rejecting India’s attempt to place the treaty in abeyance.

In a statement posted on its social media platforms, the Embassy said that Pakistan welcomed the Court of Arbitration’s “clear and unanimous decision” which unambiguously reaffirmed the status of the Indus Waters Treaty and rejected India’s attempt to suspend the agreement.

The Embassy said the ruling vindicated Pakistan’s longstanding position and reaffirmed that the country’s commitment to the Indus Waters Treaty remained unwavering.
