Zurich/Brussels, (Unib Rashid) – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Zurich, Switzerland, along with a high-level delegation to participate in the High-Level Talks on the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), being held in Burgenstock on June 21, 2026.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (Media Wing), Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, will jointly participate in the important discussions aimed at advancing the implementation framework of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
The high-level talks are expected to bring together key stakeholders to review progress, strengthen cooperation, and discuss future steps for the effective execution of commitments outlined in the Islamabad MoU.
The Prime Minister’s participation underscores Pakistan’s commitment to constructive engagement, regional cooperation, and the successful implementation of agreements that promote peace, stability, and mutual understanding.
