Brussels, (Unib Rashid) – Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium and Luxembourg, Rahim Hayat Qureshi visited the European Parliament today and held meetings with several Members of the European Parliament (MEPs).

Among those he met were Adrián Vázquez Lázara from Spain and Jörgen Warborn from Sweden.

According to the Embassy’s Information Wing, the meetings focused on matters of mutual interest within the framework of Pakistan-European Union cooperation, as well as discussions on rapidly evolving geopolitical developments.

The participants also reviewed the positive momentum in Pakistan-EU relations and emphasized the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of trade and economic relations.

During the discussions, both sides underscored the significance of multilateralism and reaffirmed their commitment to upholding a rules-based international order.
