Faisalabad, (TW News) __ The vibrant spirit of Punjab’s rural culture will come alive at Lyallpur Gur Mela 2025, scheduled to take place from December 26 to 28, 2025, at Pind Punjab Da, Khurrianwala, Faisalabad.
The three-day cultural and agricultural festival aims to promote traditional Punjabi village life, agritourism, and indigenous food culture, with a special focus on the live preparation of gur (jaggery) — a hallmark of Punjab’s sugarcane heritage.
Visitors will enjoy a wide range of attractions, including a Desi Food Village, traditional horse riding and recreational activities, an enchanting Sufi Music Night, and a variety of fun-filled activities for children, making it a family-friendly event.
Organizers say the festival is designed to reconnect people with Punjab’s roots by blending cultural entertainment, agricultural learning, and rural hospitality in one unique experience.
The event is being jointly organized by the Agri Tourism Development Corporation of Pakistan, RJR Group, Green Circle, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), FWCCI, Sugarcane Research Institute, Ayub Agriculture Research Institute Faisalabad, Business Talk Pvt. Ltd., Rotary Club of Faisalabad, and Superior College Khurrianwala.
