Brussels, (Unib Rashid) — Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, met Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto today on the sidelines of the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.
During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral cooperation, including political, economic, trade, cultural and defence ties, as well as people-to-people exchanges.

They also discussed broader regional and global developments and emphasized the importance of continued engagement at multilateral forums.
In addition, both ministers signed the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation under the Stipendium Hungaricum Programme for the 2026–2028 cycle. The programme will continue to offer 400 annual scholarships for Pakistani students to pursue higher education in Hungary.

The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to maintain close coordination to finalize other pending agreements aimed at further deepening cooperation between Pakistan and Hungary.
