Brussels, (Hafiz Unib Rashid) __ A special meeting of the Jhelum Foundation was held recently in Jhelum, hosted by Chaudhry Ghulam Ahmed Zumurd. The session was convened to review possibilities of collaboration between the Jhelum Foundation, a registered charity operating under the laws of the Punjab province, and DEVOTION, a federally registered organization established by Professor Chaudhry Azam, a member of the Jhelum Forum Canada Branch.

The primary objective of the meeting was to explore how the two organizations could work together within the legal framework, complementing each other’s efforts to enhance social welfare and community development.
The participants examined both the benefits and challenges of potential collaboration.

The meeting was attended by Professor Chaudhry Azam, Brigadier Tassawur Hussain, Dr. Ismat Javed, Chaudhry Ghulam Ahmed Zumurd, Chaudhry Anwar Yaqoob, Saleem Anwar Kasana, Chaudhry Yousaf, and Ilyas Gondal, who all actively participated in the discussions.
The participants expressed their willingness to cooperate and agreed in principle to work together.

It was further decided that Saleem Anwar Kasana and Professor Chaudhry Azam will meet in the coming days to prepare joint recommendations in accordance with existing laws and policies for the future partnership framework.

At the conclusion, all participants expressed appreciation for attending the meeting on short notice, and special thanks were extended to Chaudhry Ghulam Ahmed Zumurd for his kind hospitality and initiative in hosting the session.
