Dublin, Ireland (Report : Atif Bangash/pakistani.irish) The Irish Pakistani Professionals Association (IPPA) recently arranged a spectacular Eid Festival on April 30th, 2023, at the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne. The event was a huge success, with tickets selling out three weeks in advance. The festival was thoughtfully planned, keeping in mind the entertainment needs of all age groups.
The event had a separate room dedicated to face painting and a magician show to entertain the children. Guests were also able to enjoy a variety of Pakistani stalls, which included jewellery, paintings, Islamic calligraphy, Pakistani beverages, and mobile accessories.
The event was managed efficiently by young IPPA volunteers, under the supervision of the event team. Several prominent personalities, including Transport Minister Mr Jack Chambers, Ambassador of Pakistan Ms Aisha Farooqui, and Garda Commissioner representative Inspector Ciaran Nunan, were also present at the event. They mingled with the Pakistani community and enjoyed the festivities.
The IPPA youth club and IPPA Sports Club were also launched at this event, which received much appreciation from everyone present, including Mr Jack Chambers and other guests.
After dinner, guests enjoyed the lively music and socialized with each other. Overall, it was an evening well spent, and guests were delighted with the Eid Festival. They appreciated the planning, management, and family entertainment delivered by the event team.
The success of this event is a testament to the efforts and hard work of the IPPA team, who continue to work towards promoting Pakistani culture and strengthening the community in Ireland. The event showcased the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan and brought together people from different backgrounds and nationalities, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
