Sardar Zarif Khan in high spirits and positive mood: Dr. Fai

Virginia, USA. October 5, 2024 (TW) __ Today, a group of well-wishers of Sardar Zarif Khan, Advisor to the President of Azad Kashmir had an opportunity to visit him at his home to check on his health status. We were happy to see Zarif Sahib’s continuing progress. He was in high spirits and as always in a positive mood.

Zarif Sahib continues to be making incremental progress, Alhamdulillah. His neurological status has come a long way and his limitations seem to be now mostly physical due to muscular weakness which will take some time to get back to the baseline. We would like to request all well-wishers to encourage Zarif Sahib to intensify his determination for a full recovery Insha’Allah.

As usual, Zarif Sahib asked the group if there was any plan to express our solidarity with our brethren on October 27 which is the day of occupation.

So, it was agreed upon that World Kashmir Awareness Forum (WKAF) will rent the digital trucks both in New York as well as in Washington. However, it was discussed that since October 27, 2024, will be Sunday, it will be more effective and successful if we could rent the digital trucks on Monday October 28, 2024, which is a working day.

Those who visited Sardar Zarif Sahib today included: Dr. Ghulam Nabi Fai, Secretary General, World Kashmir Awareness Forum, Dr. Akbar Khawaja former member of the Senate of Pakistan and the notable leader of PPP, Washington metropolitan area, Malik Hamid Sahib, prominent community leader and President of Pakistan Link, Raja Liaqat Kiyani, President, Kashmir House, Washington and President of Kashmir American Welfare Association (KAWA), Sardar Shoaib Irshad, General Secretary, KAWA, Sardar Aftab Roshan Khan, leading advocate of Kashmir cause, Mr. Khalid Fahim, well-known community activist, and Dr. Amjad, a renowned physician.
