Kuala Lumpur (Muhammad Waqar Khan) – The Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) organized the exhibition of the world’s largest halal products.
Following the recitation of the Holy Quran, the exhibition was officially inaugurated by Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Anwar Ibrahim. Senior politicians, including Deputy Prime Minister Zaid Hamidi and the Trade Minister, along with several other ministers and senators, attended the opening ceremony alongside the Prime Minister.
A representative from the Guinness Book of World Records took the stage to present the certificate for the exhibition of the world’s largest halal products. Halal product manufacturing companies from around the globe participated in the exhibition. The Pakistani High Commissioner, Syed Ahsan, was present in the ceremony hall, along with Welfare Attaché Dr. Haseeb Anis, hundreds of delegates from various countries, and media representatives.
Deputy Prime Minister Zaid Hamidi, the Trade Minister, and numerous government officials, business tycoons, and ambassadors from different nations also attended the opening ceremony alongside the Prime Minister.
Ten different companies from Pakistan are participating in this exhibition. Like their counterparts, representatives of Pakistani companies are optimistic that this exhibition will provide them access to the international market, which will not only enhance Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves but also allow the world to become acquainted with the high quality of Pakistan’s products.
This halal products exhibition will run for four days, during which business deals worth millions of dollars and participation from millions of local consumers are anticipated. Prime Minister Tan Sri Anwar Ibrahim also informed journalists about his upcoming visit to Pakistan in October.
