Embassy Of Pakistan Norway organized a seminar observance of the Kashmir Black Day

OSLO (Aqeel Qadir) In observance of the Kashmir Black Day 2023, the Embassy organized a seminar at its premises on 27 October.

The speakers included Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mrs. Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Mr. Lars Rise, former Member of Norwegian National Parliament, Mr. Fahim Kayani, President Tehreek e Kashmir UK, Mr. Khalid Mehmood, former politician; Ms. Attiya Mirza Mehmood, Oslo City Councillor; and Ambassador Saadia Altaf Qazi. Norway- based Pakistani and Kashmiri diaspora, representatives of think tanks, students, politicians, and journalists from print and electronic media participated in the seminar.

The speakers highlighted the atrocities perpetrated by the Indian security forces on people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK) and urged the international community to impress upon India to immediately stop innocent Kashmiris’ annihilation through crimes against humanity and genocide.

They reiterated their firm stance to continue supporting legitimate struggle of Kashmiris for their inalienable right of self-determination according to the UNSC resolutions.

A documentary highlighting the background of Kashmir Black Day and the atrocities perpetrated by the Indian security forces was shown to the audience.
