Vienna (Muhammad Amir Siddique) : A gathering of Miraj-ul-Nabi (PBUH) was held at the Austrian Vienna Pak Center Masjid al-Madinah. In which young people, children and elders from small and big cities across Austria participated by expressing their love for their beloved Prophet (PBUH).
Specially, Salim Shehzad, Community Affairs Consuler from the Embassy of Pakistan Austria and the staff of the Embassy of Pakistan also participated.
Qari Shabbir performed the duties of the moderation. The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Hafiz Zaryab Idrees and Junaid Aslam got the happiness. Offering flowers of devotion in the form of naat, Maqsood Mughal, Muhammad Aamir Siddique, Hamza and Sherear Khan offered devotional gifts in the service of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him).
Abdul Haq Malik short address shed light on the incident of the Ascension of the Prophet (PBUH). Ghulam Mustafa Baloch, an Islamic scholar of Austria, gave a special address in the light of Quran and Hadees, and said that the incident of Ascension is one of the signs of the power of Allah, which apparently happened in the blink of an eye, but in reality, how long did it take? And his Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, knows better.
In this incident, Allah made His beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) witness His perfect power. The incident of Ascension took place in Mecca in the tenth year of the declaration of Prophet hood and one year before the migration to Madinah.
At the end of the ceremony, Shearyar Khan along with the present participants offered greetings and Qari Shabbir made special prayers for the Muslim Ummah, Pakistan’s development and prosperity, the flood victims and Turkey’s earthquake resistance and the present participants in the collective prayer.
